A 60s themed shoot on a rainy day in North Wales

I often like to take part in styled shoots as long as the concept is different and shows the brides to be a different slant and angle on what they can do in terms of styling the day.

I did a shoot back in May with a bit of 60s flair for the modern bride looking for something a bit different. It was amazing, if not a little bit tense in the planning process in terms of getting suppliers and models, however a core group stuck with it and I am massively grateful for this. We stuck with it and perseverance paid off and this shoot now graces the cover of November and December Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding Magazine.

I loved doing this shoot because it meant so much to me, my parents married in April 1969 and recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Mum wore a royal blue mini-dress with matching short duster coat, with her cute little beehive. She looked so lovely even though it was only a small registry office affair, 50 years of still going strong.

The 60’s in the time that fashion really changed from the previous decades, people were more daring, they were influenced by the change in music and there was a lot more freedom and it was really the beginning for what we have today.

Thank you to the following suppliers for making it happen and bringing this vision together.
