I love blogging but time and lifestyle means that it is not always possible but today at 3 day film shoot I was booked for was condensed into 2 days so this means I have time to blog and its a delight to do, because it means I can be creative and let you into my world and the job I adore.
So in July I was booked for a beautiful wedding at West Tower in Aughton, Lancashire. I have to say I was excited to see this venue as it is new for me to work at and I love seeing all the venues, especially a new one.
I was working on the Makeup for Chloe and her beautiful bridal party and working with Hair by Carol Ellis-Thompson.
Chloe was looking for makeup that was natural, glowing and bronzed and it was lovely to do, she wore Airbrush Makeup as her base and I use Airbase for most of my brides because it lasts without the need for touch-ups and photographs like a dream.
I used pretty much Charlotte Tilbury Products on her, the eyes on all the girls using a mix of palettes and the eyes to mesmorise pots. I used Hollywood Flawless filter on the high points to give the skin a natural looking glow.
Her colour scheme was so classy with her bridesmaids in light blue gowns and her flowers being fresh and white with a hint of pastels, her gown a slim fitting lace gown and her veils with delicate lace accents too. Carol created a half up half down style.
It was a lovely wedding venue in a lovely location with views of rolling fields. We got her ready in the Bridal Suite which was light and airy and for me plenty of natural light, however I believe that they now have a wedding prep room installed which I can imagine will be so much better.
Beautiful wedding, bride and bridal party and it was a pleasure to be involved in.
Photos are stunning and beautifully captured by Mike from Capture My Big Day Photography, who is a pleasure to work with.
