Dreamy makeup that is focus on skin and enhancing natural beauty for a luxury bridal shoot

I adore being involved in styled shoots and last week I was asked to take part in a luxury shoot at Hawkestone Hall near Shrewsbury.  This shoot was in 2 parts the first I was MUA for as they wanted to mix a cross of Western bridal looks into Persian weddings and this was my look.

A luxurious venue with that wow factor and the drive up to it was amazing, if not a little scary in places.

The makeup was by me and a few other luxury suppliers.

I wanted to run through the makeup that I used on the shoot:

I love working with a skin prep product called Embyolisse, it always for me has been my go to skin prep product as it leaves a glorious finish under the makeup like nothing else I have ever used.

I used Airbase Makeup on the skin, I use this and I have used it now for the last 7 years because it looks amazing on photographs and for all my brides they comment how lovely it feels on the skin and how long it lasts.

I used 3 products on her eyes and I used Eyes to Mesmerise cream shadows in Jean and Marie Antionette, the inner corner I used a new product in my kit from Peggy Sage Code (a French brand that has a store in Llandudno of all places), I did not use lashes as this wasn’t where the shoot was going in terms of styling.

There is nothing better than Charlotte Tilbury products for finishing the makeup off and here is what I used to make the makeup really work.  I used on a fluffy brush the Hollywood Flawless filter and I used this on her cheekbones, on her shoulders, down her back as it was on show, its my must have in my kit, if I don’t have this I don’t know what I would do, it is the most perfect product and multiple ways to use it, from highlighting the skin, to mixing it in foundation, a primer or just wear it on its own in place of foundation.

Here cheeks I used a mix of the new Peachgasm with Ectasy blush.  Finally a slick of Pillow Talk lipstick which is the most perfect colour for Bridal Makeup, it is the perfect nudey pink that works on all skin tones I find.
