I am really pleased to announce that I am a finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards for 2020 for Best Bridal Makeup in the North West.
I entered these awards because they are seen the best in the industry and they certainly open doors for all those who have won or even got to this stage of being a finalist.
I work so hard at this business and making sure that I am the best I can be for all of my brides to be, so I felt that this year was the time to enter and be part of this.
I have been listed as one of the top 50 in the UK with GoHen for the last 6 years and last year a similar poll in Wedding Ideas Magazine. In 2015 I won the County Brides for Best Bridal Makeup in the North West. I have had a few years off awards as I have things going on personally and I wanted to focus on growth and I am there now with 2020 being 70% filled.
I am literally over the moon at being in the final for this and when you see the calibre and other finalist you will understand why this is such an honour. All the finalist are proper business that run themselves in my opinion from what I have seen on their social media and the work that they do.
The way that this is judged is excellent too, my brides nominate me and fill out comments on how I was on the day for them and this is where they are strict, it can only be that bride to vote for me. The it is based on average against how many I have done in the timescale against how many voted. This is done so that everyone is on a level pegging. The comments are taken into consideration. How I run my business and also my social media is judged by an expert panel in my field of the wedding industry.
So the first leg of the awards will be the regional ceremony on 12th April 2019 at Ashfield House near Wigan. So time for me to find an outfit fitting for the event. I am so excited and even if I do not win this leg of the awards, to get to where I have got is an achievement
