A chic city centre wedding in the beautiful city of Chester

Elegant styling for a wedding at Old Palace in Chester

I have been a Bridal Makeup Artist for over 15 years and I am so lucky to get to work in some of the most exciting and incredible venues around the North West and North Wales.

This beautiful wedding prep was for the very lovely Cheryl who married at one of my favourite venues and one that I am actually a preferred supplier for the Old Palace in Chester City Centre.

Cheryl booked me after seeing photos of my Sister in Law from her day a few years prior, she used to work with my Husband and Sister in Law and for me I find that I do pick up loads of work from word of mouth. It definitely is the best way.

Cheryl was keen to make a real focus on her eye makeup and it was refreshing to do something cooler in tone rather than the usual warm browns, golds and bronzes you see on Brides at the moment. I used the cool taupes and greys in the Glam Palette from Natasha Denona. I used Airbrush makeup on her skin to give her a lovely natural base with lots of glow and finished with a nude pink lipstick.

"Elegance is the only beauty that never fades"

I loved her dress a beautiful form fitting lace gown with a beautiful train and her colour scheme for the day was cool blues, which again worked with the cool tones we picked in her makeup, it all worked in harmony.

Working at the Old Palace it has one of the best prep rooms locally and it is such a modern venue but still has plenty of old charm and I am lucky to work at this venue several times each season.
