One of the most rewarding parts of being a bridal makeup artist is the privilege of working with clients of all ages. Love doesn't come with an expiry date—and neither does beautiful makeup. Whether you're a glowing bride in your 20s, a teenage bridesmaid, or a radiant bride rediscovering love later in life, I believe every age should be celebrated with confidence, elegance, and a touch of artistry.

Throughout my 18 years in the bridal industry, I've worked with countless faces, each one unique in its story and structure. I'm often asked, "Do you only work with younger brides?" and the answer is absolutely not. My portfolio is filled with women from all walks of life—young brides, second-time brides, mature brides, mothers of the bride or groom, and bridesmaids spanning every generation.

Each age group brings something different to the table, and as a makeup artist, it's important to adapt your techniques accordingly. Teenage bridesmaids may need soft, age-appropriate enhancements—something subtle and fresh to help them feel part of the bridal party without being overdone. Younger brides in their 20s and 30s often love a little more definition or glow, and they're sometimes more familiar with current trends, which I love to play with in a way that still feels timeless in photos.

Then there are my mature brides—women who have found love for the first time or all over again, often later in life. This is where a more refined skill set comes in. Working with mature skin requires a delicate touch and a deeper understanding of how products interact with texture. Hooded eyes, fine lines, and changes in skin elasticity and tone all play a role in how makeup is applied. My focus is always on enhancing, never masking—highlighting natural beauty while creating a look that's comfortable, flattering, and radiant.

What you'll see across my portfolio is that there's no one-size-fits-all approach. My aim is to enhance every face, at every age, in a way that feels authentic to the individual. It's not about chasing trends; it's about creating a timeless look that makes each person feel their best in the moment and when they look back at photos for years to come.

So whether you're 18 or 80, if you're planning a wedding and want an experienced makeup artist who understands the nuances of different ages and skin types, I'd love to hear from you. You can get in touch via the link below to view more about my services and availability.

Here's to love at every stage—and looking and feeling your most beautiful on the day you celebrate it.
