The luxurious touches for a Summer, Knowsley Hall Wedding
In July I was involved in so many beautiful weddings and this was a wedding I was very much looking forward to being part of with my good friend Carol Ellis-Thompson who is one of my recommended hair-dressers.
Yulia was marrying Matt at the most stunning of venues locally, Knowsley Hall. This venue is possibly one of the most luxurious of all the venues I am lucky enough to work from. This venue has so much history and pure opulence, the minute you drive onto the estate you know you are in for something super special and the drive towards the venue is always a treat.
Carol and I, were booked by Yulia for makeup and hair for the main day event and we returned to create something more glamourous for the evening. This is something I do offer my brides if they want something more glam and bolder for the night celebrations or just to freshen up.
In terms of changes even Yulia's gown had different looks, the first a full skirt for a real princess entrance for the main ceremony, then she had a less full A Line skirt for the Reception and this went over a slinky form fitting gown, so I loved the 3 looks in one dress concept.
For her first look I created a fresh look picking up the mauve and cool aspects in the eye makeup from the colour scheme of the day with her signature liner flick. I used a natural skin finish using Airbase Makeup and Pillow Talk on her lips.
The evening I changed the look with a fuller coverage base with Too Faced Born this way and I intensified her eye makeup with move colour and again her defined black liner flick, finally a lovely slick of Natalie Grace Cosmetics in shade Miss Mauve.

It was an absolutely incredible day and I wish both Yulia and Matt all the very best for their future together.
