I have been a Bridal Makeup Artist for over 15 years now and I cover mostly the North Wales border and Cheshre with Chester being 6 miles from where I live, so I am often at the Old Palace in Chester and I am lucky enough to be one of the recommended suppliers at this venue.

This weekend I did a wedding for this beautiful Bride, Katie and I am absolutely loving the makeup that I did for her.

It was elegant with a touch of drama in the eye makeup.

Often at a trial I will create a look but I don't see the colours and theme as well as usually it is from a mood board and it is only when you see the elements for real on the morning I can consult further with my bride and we might make tweaks to the tones and the colours.

In this case I saw the richness of the colour scheme of the bridesmaid dresses, the elegance and simplicity from her Mori Lee gown, which was a ball gown style, made of pure satin, with no embellishment, it really did have a hint of glamour and then she had a hair band from Cassie M Bridal Jewellery which was very shiny and blingy. So I suggested we use sparkle in the eye makeup to compliment the majesty of the hair piece and I have a new palette from Natasha Denona called I need a Nude Palette, that has the most perfect Bridal tones and shades and the sparkle shades especially the one called muse was the one I used.

I adore a spotlight of sparkle on any of the bridal looks that I create as it gives that hint of glamour and it looks incredible on a photograph when a bride is looking down at her florals.

The products I have used for this Bride:

Skin prep started with my favourite product that I use before any skin work and this is Hada Labo Super Hydrator in Premium, as it is a hyaluronic acid, it will draw moisture to the skin and plump out the skin leaving a gorgeous dewiness. I then followed this up with my favourite moisturiser and primer Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate. I leave this to settle into the skin as I then move onto the eyes.

On her eyes I used my new I need a Nude Palette as I mentioned. It really is the most perfect Bridal friendly palette.

I used a Rare Beauty liquid blush on the cheeks, these are beautiful but so pigmented and only a little is needed or it can look too much.

Finally I finished the look with a slick of gloss in a berry tone to tie in with the floral and the colour scheme.

Definitely one of my most favourite looks. If you are looking for professional service and attention to detail then please get in touch via the link below.
