Glowing and gorgeous bridal makeup for a stunning bride

In May of 2023 I headed to Wyresdale Park near Preston for the wedding preparation for Ailish. I was a venue quite out of my usual area of Cheshire and North Wales. However she was such a fan of my style and makeup that she was sure she wanted me to be her Bridal Makeup Artist, so we made the journey for her and her bridal party.

I excel at very glowing and radiant looks for brides, I am such a fan of working with my brides on the run up to the day to make sure their skin is the best it can be ready for makeup and often this prep takes place several months prior to the wedding day.

Ailish had the most beautiful porcelain skin and red hair and I often get booked by brides who have this combination and I again think it is something I am excellent at because I too have red hair and a pale complexion and I understand that not everyone with paler skin wants to look tanned or darker and they enjoy and want to embrace their natural skin tone.

The hair was excellently styled by my friend and colleague in the industry, Carol Ellis-Thompson Bridal hair, she is amazing at very effortless romantic looks and is one of my recommended suppliers on my website.

I used a mix of products to create this look and the skin prep will always be Hada Labo Super Hydrator in the premium and Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate and her base was Airbase which is an airbrush makeup, you can read my previous blog on this, she wanted a light coverage and glowing base.

I opted for warmth in the eye makeup using the most beautiful palette of Too Faced The Natural Nudes.
