Makeup review the Danessa Myricks Groundworks Palette

Bridal Makeup in North Wales and Cheshire

I am Cathryn Kerwin-Rawlinson Bridal Makeup Artist and I am located in Hawarden near Chester and my area is North Wales and Cheshire.

Recently I was lucky enough to go on holiday to Florida for 2 weeks and when in the USA I love to purchase USA based brands to add to my kit, and to try and this was one I was keen to purchase and I was so glad to add it into my kit, and then in late November I went to a masterclass with the incredible James Molloy and I received another palette, so one for me and one for my kit.

The Groundwork palette is a beautiful blend of cream and powder based products in perfect neutral tones from creams, taupes, rich browns, greys and the most incredible black shade.

The great thing about this palette is the formulation and the blendability. With this palette, it's effortless to use and blend, thanks to its cream products that blends like a dream on the skin. It's an amazing mix of cream and shadows in beautiful textures that allow you to layer the shades, .It works wonderfully whether you want a barely-there day look, or you want to intensify it for the night. The possibilities are endless! And speaking about powder products, they are top-notch! The powders in this palette are finely milled, resulting in a feather-light, velvet texture. They complement the creams perfectly, by adding dimension and helping set your cream products in place.

As a Professional Makeup Artist for me a good staple palette for me is always a neutral palette, the Danessa Myricks Groundwork palette packs a punch with its exceptional formulation and for me this is a bold statement but I will go so far as to say this is the best neutral palette I have ever owned.
