I am Cathryn Kerwin-Rawlinson Bridal Makeup Artist and I have been a Wedding Makeup Artist now for over 16 years and I mostly cover Cheshire and North Wales but will travel if required.
I love a festive wedding, I always feel like they give a lovely sense of celebration during the lull after Christmas day, and I had quite a few weddings during that break in 2023 and it ended with the lovely wedding preparation for Faye, who was marrying Jami at the beautiful Inglewood Manor in Ledsham, Cheshire on New Year's Eve 2023.
I think one of the main reasons that I love a winter wedding and especially the festive season is you can up the glamour somewhat in the looks that are created in the makeup and for Faye she wanted a more elevated bridal look using lots of liner and shimmery tones on the eyes, with a beautiful pop of a plum/pink tone on her lip.
Her dress was absolutely beautiful and had such a fairytale vibe to it with the long sleeves the sweetheart neckline and the fabulous full skirt. She looked breathtakingly beautiful.
It was lovely to finally work with Danielle Marouzet, a Liverpool based Bridal Hairstylist who was so much fun to be around and work with and I have a couple of weddings in 2024 with her.
