Classic Bridal styling and elegant bridal Makeup for a Chester City Wedding

Chester City Centre Wedding at Old Palace in Chester

I have been a Bridal Makeup Artist for over 15 years and I am so lucky to get to work in some of the most exciting and incredible venues around the North West and North Wales.

One of my favourite venues to work from as a Bridal Makeup Artist is the very beautiful Old Palace in Chester, Cheshire.

This was the prep for Sophie and I was working with the fabulous Carol Ellis-Thompson who was creating the hair on the day. Sophie had moved her wedding a couple of times and as it was for couple who were moving their date it was a very anxious time for them, plus she had in that time moved from one venue to finally going to Old Palace and such a good choice as it really is the most incredible venue locally.

She was keen on a very classic look with light tones on the eyes, always my trusty too faced Neutral Nude palette to create these looks and a light shimmer in centre of the eye which works using the Honeymoon pigment from Peaches Makeup, these 2 items are an absolute staple in my kit and could not be without them for creating wedding makeup looks.

“Elegance is not being noticed, it's about being remembered.” – Giorgio Armani.

Sophie had tried on several dresses, I recall on the morning of the wedding her Bridesmaids reminiscing about the planning process and they had photos in a scrap book of every dress she had tried. The final dress was the epitome of elegance and she got it from Suzanne Neville from the London boutique.

I am sure you will agree her photographs are incredible from the extremely talented and highly recommended Madison Pictures, who are listed in my Supplier recommendation page on my website.
